Pit of Saron: 2nd boss. Save a kick / decurse / snare removal for about 2-3 seconds before the AoE explosion (Plague Explosion). to avoid deaths the overlapping damage. Also, you can prepostion (Stack or outside of room) to drop puddles in a opportune spot.
